@theaoi @pavedwgold Sometimes you just need a simple guide and prompt to make you realise you need to update your profile. Thanks @theaoi and @pavedwgold
This review certainly brightened my day! If you fancy a gander at 'An Illustrated History of UFOs' yourself, pop by a local bookshop or order here: https://t.co/5Hnp9M9PMH And don't forget to watch the skies 🛸
Huge thank you to @davebainuk for our wonderful new mural. It took inspiration from his original 2012 piece & 7 days to paint - we love the character continuation! Now adding furniture ready for expected May 17 transition inside https://t.co/uKSmI9ahxY
@theaoi @pavedwgold Really good! I've had a gut feeling I need to shape up my @LinkedIn presence, and this is a good place to start. Personal note: I find it easiest to connect with journalists on Twitter. They just love a succinct pitch. :-)
⭐️Cover Reveal Claxon!⭐️ So pleased to be able to share the cover for Raven Winter, the beautiful new book by @sbaileywriter, out Nov '21 from @FarshoreBooks. Here's a little animation I made from bits of the artwork. ☺️
We just had a great morning with ROK (Reach Out 2 Kids) to be part of a virtual Careers Carousel with Clapton girls Academy to discuss career choices & opportunities with the students and answer any questions they might have about navigating the professional world! #careers
This. Was. Wonderful. So much fun. And very interesting to see a fab working relationship in action.
@rcharlesworth @theaoi @burstofbeaden @WELBooks @TeresaCremin @one_to_read @mattheweduk @GalwayMr @marygtroche It was great want it! Thanks @theaoi @burstofbeaden @WELBooks @Candlewick. Insightful, relaxed and honest! 😊🙏
I can’t stop imagining the Zoom where @Sydneydraws is shouting “Now, spray it with water!”. Such an interesting process, talking about the Science of Edges and talk across a wide range of Jon’s work. Here’s to another event soon - maybe in person (w/Ann!) in the UK? 😉
Thank you @theaoi for bringing the week to an amazing close. Your talk with @burstofbeaden was so interesting. Who knew that Osakan dialect would pair so perfectly with Jon’s sarcasm; that Italians love exclamation marks (!); and, that lots of Jon’s texts offer reversals.
I love making work for the joy of it, I love love love it... unless it's something I have to do, for a project or smth then I hate hate hate it.
We've written another little guide for @theaoi. This time on LinkedIn and how useful it can be as a tool for illustrators to get commissioned work.
