I've been doing food illustrations for Tatler HK for a while now - nice to see them all on one page:
@gray I’ve always thought it to be very much an adult’s rendering of childhood conflict; no teenager would ever throw their whole sausage away in such a manner
@badmachinery Thank you john! A quick google suggests this maybe a reference to high peak which is in Derbyshire?
@gray I got a new 27 iMac in January and had to use the repair service last month cos it needed a new logic board - absolutely no difference in delay or repair experience from back when I was paying more, for a shorter warranty, from AppleCare
RT @Nickiquote: Just bought two fantastic-looking new @NadiaShireen and @stephen_collins books “for the kids” which I wouldn’t have known a…
@FionaSturges If you like fishy pasta learning puttanesca was a game changer for me cos the basic anchovy base can be adapted for loads of stuff and it’s easy and cheap and anchovies blatantly don’t have feelings
@badmachinery @joedecie oh shit hope you're ok now. That sounds horrific. I think the main thing is the eye-levelness really. Physio said one of the main things that messed me up was the craning neck down, which is worsened when sitting on sofa/bed
@joedecie I reckon the whole lot comes in about £250. Stand up desk cheaper than it looks, table easel about £40, gets it at a good angle to stop the head-craning. It's a really lovely way to work, honestly

@joedecie And yes, that is a table easel clamped to a big wooden lightbox sat on a stand-up desk supported by a bucket and books on a normal desk. Sounds mental but it *works*
@joedecie Joe I'd urgently suggest you do as much as you can to get your iPad eye-level, pref standing, as if it were on an easel. There's no one thing you can buy for this, and it's a hassle, but here is my current stand-up set up and it's saved my back...
