These are normal paperback covers that you once would see in any mainstream book store. It's bizarre that as access to the creepiest, ugliest, and most degrading porn increases, the more our self-appointed watchdogs treat fun as "misogyny".
Is Kickstarter a real thing, or a graveyard for unfulfilled projects? Over $37K raised for a comic book writing app, left the backers high and dry in 2016. The comments consist of years of backers demanding refunds.
@gerryconway You're not responsible for Power Girl's visual identity, but if she embarrasses you then take her off your bio. The comic book is a visual medium. Thank you for your service, but stay in your lane.
@FuturistDog @BrianNiemeier An excerpt from his new horror novel has the hero haunted by his racist daddy. This bit does something I've seen from this kind of writer before: the hero clearly stands in for the writer, says or does something nasty, gets affirmation from the NPC-style characters around him
For my next trick, a comic book worksheet. I'll post the file after working with it some. I started doing some pages with no plan a little while ago, and as usual got interrupted by some emergencies then realized that things weren't fitting together right, already. Got to plan.
@TorJohnson6 The irony is that one of the wealthiest mangaka ever was a woman. She got there by creating imaginative comics about young busty girls, comedy and violence, gender confusion, martial arts and horror... ...and not by lecturing people about refrigerators and politics.
How many people know who Big Chungus really was? Elmer Fudd's voice actor, Arthur Q. Bryan. For a couple of cartoons, animators experimented making Fudd look more like him. So Bugs was technically aping Bryan as Big Chungus.
@trishacuffari Krita is an option as well. It is a free, open-source, cross-platform app. Not as snazzy as Clip Studio, but it makes big leaps forward with crowdfunding. Has vector, perspective tools, etc. My samples here to show some of what can be done with it. https://t.co/EDm4dHbxmD
@kevnorm81 @petersimeti @ALTERNACOMICS So there he goes, a member of an *actual* hate group, that works behind the scenes and as mobs online to smear people and end careers. I've been on the receiving end, it's not pretty. If your life isn't a fortress, they can end you.
Yet another potshot at @JScottCampbell, but this time from somebody with Red Hot Riding Hood in their profile banner. Yes, Red Hot Riding Hood, the 1940's hottie who shares literally all of the supposedly objectionable traits of Campbell's Mary Jane.
