@ArtsyPabster There’s a Dominican diner on 27th street in the city. There’s only one lady there who speaks English and I say “Give me anything you like” and I get a plate of amazing things.

Anyway, the young woman spearheading this movement to abolish luck will soon be adopting a cool pseudonym (The Luckless...The CoinciDenter...etc) and will be plotting to overthrow Batman and take over Gotham very soon.
They felt you should be hired on talent alone, and that the idea that you might know a person or have a chance meeting with someone in the industry should be taken out of the procedure.
A month or so ago I couldn’t help but be drawn into a lunatic conversion, mostly driven by young, frustrated (possibly undertalented) people who were demanding that “luck” as a concept be removed from the hiring process.
I aim to avoid all confrontation on Twitter because it’s a futile game that I’ll never win, so mostly I don’t engage.
