@/sueshee7 is in a X-stitch group I'm in & shared this yesterday. She gave me permission to tweet about it, so I'm showing y'all this amazing portrait of @SnoopDogg that has a couple of hidden surprises. 😉You can see the original IG post here: https://t.co/7VflNydEn4
Our family had so much fun watching The Mitchells vs. The Machines tonight! We were howling with laughter and had SUCH a great time watching it together. It was an over the top and joyful movie, perfect for teens and tweens. Highly recommend!
On a section of wall in front of my drawing desk I have this ceramic tile hanging up. Every time I look at it, it brings me a little bit of joy. What #smallstudiomagic do you have where you create?
I’m having some nebulous thoughts about a work in progress, and so I pulled out some books to help me focus on the direction I was heading. This completely validates having a huge home library. 😉
This reminiscing is brought to you by my reading this GN biography of Monet. It’s not for young children, and glosses over his gross behavior towards the women in his life, but it is beautifully done and gives a wonderful glimpse into the Impressionist movement (almost all men).
I remember stepping into the MOMA’s Monet’s Water Lilies room and my breath being snatched away. This sprawling triptych covered in color & light filled the room & my eyes could not stop gobbling it up. I wanted to sit there for hours and look. Pictures do them no justice. 1/
We had to say good-bye to Jack over a week ago, and there is a little hole in my heart for the dog I loved best. Even though we knew it was coming, it didn't make the leaving any easier. Rest easy, my Very Good Boy.
