In the summer of 1944, the Allies launched a daring airborne operation Codenamed 'Market Garden', the plan involved the seizure of key bridges in the Netherland. On 17 September the 101st Airborne Division landed and was one of the largest airborne operations in history.
Week of the Eagles is ending. We capped it off with the division on full display; a reminder of our lineage, and our responsibility to carry it into the future. Until the next Rendezvous with Destiny.
